The Power of Patience!!!

Pastor Ben, Dr. C this is long but it's 3 testimonies rolled into one. Here we go!

We have been writing on our tithe envelope for almost 2 years or more, New Car, New Home, New Baby. We knew we wanted to have children after we had been married for at least a year, but we wanted to spend some time together first. After living in an apartment for 3 years (nice apartments) we knew it was time to move into a house but didn't know how God would work it out. With the untimely death of My husbands mother we were left with a decision to move into her home or to sell it. We looked at everything it would cost to run the home and found that it would be in our best interest to move in since the mortgage was half of what we were paying for rent. (New Home!!!)

We had been taking pregnancy test after pregnancy test with negative results for over 2 years, just as we were about to look into other areas like fertility drugs, we came to church on Dream Seed Sunday and just like before we were believing God and I remember Pastor Galena saying "this is fertile ground and like never before it is time for those dream like things to be manifested" we sowed our seed, and we confessed like we always do but it was different this time and I knew it.
I went home after 8:00 am service and planned to return to hear the Dream Seed total (The Bad News is, they hadn't got done counting yet ). I got home and decided to take another test, I had taken one a couple of days before but when you are trying to conceive you don't care how many you take, you just want it to be positive. I took the test and the test was positive! I had never got a double line so I wasn't sure what it was I had to get the box out of the trash and find out, Yes it was positive!! Praise God. With so much against us we knew that God was for us. We knew God would manifest what His Word says in Genesis 1:28 be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. (New Baby!!!!)

After having a head gasket blow on my car my husband didn't want me on the road in an unreliable car, so we went car shopping. We looked at a used mini van and was about to sign the papers and really make a bad choice when God sent a ram in the bush, we thought the car was nice but God said NEW!! a man approached us and said I know you, you play bass at DWO I'm one of the Seasoned Saints, why are you guys buying used? We didn't think we could get a good deal on new, with the help of our best friends and this Dwoite we were able to get a brand new 2008 Town and Country Mini Van no money down, less than what we expected to pay, 4.9 % financing, all the while the used car finance manager is behind a glass partition barking out "Are you through Praying yet?" Pray, what is praying going to do for you? We don't even think that he knows he lost the sale. The people of God are moving into due season!!! Praise God and thanks Pastor Ben and Dr. C we've had so many of our prayers answered since we have been sitting under your teaching!!!! We love you very much, thanks for being our Pastors. (New Car!!!)
